Didn't they screw up the DS2 Deathinitive edition on PC?, or is this them "trying to do right" by PC gamers?, I remember them saying something along those lines in a thread on Steam.

 

Edit: yeah it came out to negative and then mixed reviews along with citing of perf and visual losses

I have the first game but they haven't really fixed the issues with that, though I don't own the 2nd game and if this is true then it would be nice to have an updated complete collection, not just the same games slapped on two disks.

Just comes with a physical disc and comics or w/e that is in the screenshot lol.

Vsync and loading are my issues. Also I don't see them supporting higher res as well which kinda poses a future problem.

That said a two disk collection of the same exact games seems very odd for a PC release, like totally nothing changed at all but with a case and manual. In this day and age that's really weird for PC.

Also yeah it really is odd they are re-releasing the same games on physical media now - would have made sense if this was few months ago but now? XD.

 

I hope whatever this leads to - leads to the eventual development of Darksiders 3!

I just hope it's both games spruced up a bit, if that's the case I'll buy =P. I still have a CD-Drive though I imagine they will come with a Steam key.

How many more times are they going to re-release Darksiders II? Every year it gets released or re-released on a new platform.

The only time I hear about this game is when they re-release it which is odd due to their low sales. I rarely ever hear people playing this game.

I played them both :O

I got the DE version for free on Steam though when it came out - havent played it cause I beat the original version just 5 months prior to the DE version's release XD.
