If my memory serves me correctly, there was a rumor of a Paper Mario game coming to Wii U, with an announcement on the 25th. Sources said that 5 other sources tipped the same info. Did I miss something? Is it a different Monday? Am I just stupid? Please let me know. I think an E3 reveal would be too late if NX is coming this year. However, if NX isn't arriving this year, of which I am certain, E3 would be a great place to show this game off.  Were we fooled? Was the tipped announcement actually Detective Baked Pikachu? Say a thing!

The leak was originally scheduled for Monday, not any official announcement. Nintendo will presumably announce it when they feel like it, date TBD.

What? there was no official announcement from Nintendo on monday, where did you get that? This was leaked and nintendo will probably show something on a new direct next month.

That's what I thought. It's just that youtubers and other websites were claiming that something would be announced on monday.

Although I want a new legit Paper Mario so, so badly, I kind of don't want it to end up on the Wii U. I'd rather a quality Paper Mario be a launch title for the NX or something. They would sell me whatever the hell the NX will be day one if a proper Paper Mario came out with the system.

Considering there was no official announcement, that could be a sign that Nintendo is brining it to NX and not Wii U.

I was kind of hoping the rumor was false too. I kind of don't want it on Wii U but Kimishima wanted to make sure that Wii U owners got enough out of the consoles. The rumour was supposed to be a leak but somehow, youtube was making it seem like an announcement was going to be on monday. My fault for not paying more attention.
