Forums - Gaming - Aspects from Kojima games you expect to see in KojiPro's upcoming game

When it was announced that Kojima Hideo had gone put his Kojima Production studio together and now, in collaboration with Sony, was to release a new game, lots of people were hyped for the idea of a new Kojima game.

So I was wondering, what is it that Kojima-helmed videogames have that people (besides me) appreciate and respect that they end up getting hyped just like that for a new, as-of-yet completely unknown videogame from him.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Mr. Kojima, this thread is not about me being "clueless" at Kojima's talent, instead more about knowing what you guys see and like from his games and what, as a result, you expect to see in his upcoming game.

It is interesting to think that KojiPro is not working in an existing IP, so all of us need to make the exercise of giving up the idea that we are going to receive a sequel to the games we like from Kojima, but that we may be getting the "essence" of those games wrapping up a new IP.

This thread is about you identifying the essence from Kojima games that you want to see in his new studio IP.

What would those aspects of Kojima games be for you?

So what you are saying is that you like the idea that the game could have within it's story the element of driveable robot suits/robots like ZOE and Metal Gear, right?

The way he tells you the story thru the game... The movie-like cutscenes... And the humor he uses on his games, just to name a few I can think about right now... And the most important, when his name is involved, you automatically know you are in for a treat! Kinda what happens to me when some movie its being directed by C. Nolan...

The naked men, the penis-grabbing, the catching enemies pissing and stuff. xD

I suppose you mean that Kojima games involve a seal of quality and production value.

I'm mainly expecting some sort of a deeper message and attention to detail.

Like his take on war and goverment control. I watched Beasts Of No Nation recently and couldn't help being reminded of Raiden.

When you mean detail, do you mean cool stuff you sometimes do during gameplay, like exploding cockroaches during PS2 and immediately going first person views to see them stuck in your googles, kind of detail?

Or story detail?
