With the announcement of Pokemon Go, some people are somewhat dissapointed that this wasn't the announcement of either Pokemon Z or the 7th gen Pokemon. I understand the demand for Z, but isn't it a bit early to want another generation? ORAS isn't even a year old yet!

When do you want the next-gen Pokemon to come out? I would prefer it as a title that releases during the NX first year, to drive sales and to use the new tech.

Release a pokemon gane on the nx day one

I'd say 2016, but not 2017.

2018 is ok as long as it isn't on February 17th.

2019 would be ideal though, but while skipping March and the last day of October.

NX launch title.

Hopefully they've skipped Z. I don't know why people want it when the third iterations of pokemon games are just money making schemes, $10 DLC repackaged as a full price games

When the iphone 7 comes out.

I wanna say mid 2017.

First year of NX for me.

Part of me is hoping we skip the z/zx/zy or whatever it would be called as well and instead get another blue/red remake for the last two gen 6 games.

However if they did do this it might end up setting a precedent for remakes of remakes and remakes of remakes of remakes which would get a bit ridiculous specially when they could just rerelease the older games on the virtual console and update Pokémon bank to accept the Pokémon from those games.

Launch title for the next handheld, or the same year at least
