Well we currently know that Sony's in the work with a Mario movie, so possibly Disney might try to buy rights to different Nintendo franchises to make movies of.

amazon one is the most surprising, they have had a shaky relationship over the years to say the least. Its only been rectified somewhat because the amiibos are selling like hotcakes

If the only reason this source is considered reputable is because they said amiibo and Skylanders would have some kind of compatibility then I see no reason to trust them even a little bit. Anyone could have guessed that.

The Disney thing would be pretty huge, but I doubt it. This stuff sounds fake. The other issue with a Disney deal is Nintendo has already given Universal rights to their theme park properties and apparently already has a deal with Sony for Mario CG movies.

I would love to see a Nintendo film made by Disney. And the Mickey & Mario game.

The jokes about the Zelda CD-i games and the Super Mario Bros. Movie are getting old. It is nice to see Disney wants to make new Nintendo video games and movies to make jokes about.

This would be cool, but it's probably fake. Why would Nintendo announce they are bringing Nintendo-themed rides to Universal Studios theme parks only to make Nintendo movies with Disney? Makes no sense.

If Nintendo was negotiating with Disney, theme park rights would be a huge component of any deal.
