Sure, most of you have noticed that the more recent April Fool's jokes aren't any good. Why not write a story about a past good jokes you've done to others. Or good jokes you've fell for.
Halfway March 2011, I got burned out by MGO, so I told my friends I sold it. I don't know why, but I rebought the game and out of the blue, I came up with a machiavellical plan: I'd fool my friends into thinking my original MGO account got stolen by someone, when it was me playing it. For that, I had to make a dummy account on my PS3 so they wouldn't see me play. I also gave my friend my old account details so he could use my character I'd "never use again". And I'd have to adopt a different behavior in-game so he was none the wiser. So I poked him to see how was my character doing, when he notices he's wearing different clothes. Then, I tell him to dig in more, and he sees someone else has the account. I tell my friend to follow him and troll him. By Match 31st, he keeps playing with the "impostor". At one point, I intentionally told him a phrase he knows I said a lot, and left. I then told him he was an April Fool and basked in my genius.
