Killer Instinct is finally getting a physical release coming september 23rd.

its basically Season 1, expect with TJ Combo included (season 2's first character)

Killer Instinct Combo Pack will be priced at $19.99 and will be perfect for people who like to have a physical copy of games, such as collectors. I know a lot of people who have been waiting for this, so I think its a good idea.

Hopefully they release the game in physical form when they are done with the DLC stuff. Just the complete KI.

If this sells well we will see. Microsoft seems to be claiming that its been a big success on Xbox one, but never really released any actual numbers (as far as I know)

maybe when this releases we will get a good idea of what kind of sales there is. but I don't see this game reaching over a million. probably 500k at the most.

They cant really release any kind of numbers other than total downloads which can be misleading.  Why?  Because not everybody is buying the full game.  Some people are buying one character, som are buying three characters, and some are buying none other than the free character.

They announced it was successful back in January and is the main reasson theyre making other old games.  It is also the reason Phil said he likes digital for these AA releases and shows they dont have to only do AAA games

Agreed. I don't have an X1 yet, but if I do I'm very interested in picking this up, but only as a complete package. These packs, editions, and "seasons" are confusing and a big turn-off.

Might as well start with the free download and go from there. Being free and all ;)

And Im sorry if people read this sentence and take issue (if so just ignore the urge to quote me to death), but I am personally glad to be soon able to mention Killer Instinct in a comparison come September, without being immediately countered with the word "Resogun" lol.

I would say Project spark with Conker only as a resource within the game, was a big slap in the face to fans. basically they are saying "we don't want to make it, so make it yourself"

they should have made a New Conker game but using the same engine as Project spark. that artstyle would definatively fit a Conker game.
