at this point with sony and their TV divsion is like a person in a zombie outbreak who just got his/her arm bitten and needs to cut it off before they become a zombie or their case go bankrupt

As long as PlayStation brand is secure, I dont really care what happens to the rest of sony. Their business in other branches was just plain bad, and they are still in too many commodity markets

Yeah they need to become an entertainment company, they would be one of the strongest out there. The days of being an electronics giant are over.

That said it cost them over a billion to write of vaio, writing off Bravia would probably kill them cant imagine anyone would want to buy it as a going concern. They would also need to keep enough so they can keep creating PS formats, until streaming fully takes over the world.

At this point they'd almost be better off if they became a gaming-only company...

There is no such word as "rediculous".

"Almost" being the operative word. I was not being literal, it was merely an expression of how badly many of their divisions are hurting despite PS4's success.

Doesnt make what you said anywhere based in reality, you only had to look at there financial statement of last week, to see they have many departments much more profitable than gaming, in fact gaming wasn't even profitable at all, but that is understandable as they've just had a massive product launch. 

Their gaming division may not be a money maker now but they're in a good position for the 8th gen.
