If Survivor is the way the game was meant to be played then it should have been unlocked from the start.

What was DLC drop #1? MP stuff? Was it anything big or just some maps?

No weapons mode + get touched by infected and you are a gone?

Would almost be a crossover of survivor+ with dante must day and the boss extreme. Get saw and you die, can't kill no one, could call it "true despair" or "tlou".
