In a world filled with really bad trends, there lived one that just wouldn't die... and you probably know where I'm getting at by now, so I'll just get into it. This month we're playing State of Decay, a ZOMBIE GAME OMG D: . Will it be able to prove itself to be a gem in a pile of mess or just more of that mess?

If you buy the game, try out the Breakdown DLC as well. It not only makes an already challenging game even more challenging, it also makes it more of an open world sandbox type zombie game.

I'm looking forward to reading impressions. I remember posting some long stories in another SoD thread. The most intense part about the game imho is that if you aren't careful, that character you spent a lot of time leveling up and outfitting with great gear will be dead and gone from the game. It's an awesome element I wish more games would incorporate.

For anyone who wants to try out this game, I think there's a demo on Xbox Live & try to get past the tutorial (game really starts to open up from there)
