I am wanting to pick up RE5 & GTAIV at some point. Hopefully GfWL gets taken off them at some point otherwise no purchase from me.
(Also recently pissed me off with Assassins Creed II pushing shitty UPlay on me, that plus Mass Effect 2 means I have been forced into creating both Origin & Uplay each for a single game... so even if it wasn't dying I'd be staying well away from GfWL)

Good i don't have to use gfwl bad i don't know what'll happen to gta iv or dark souls. Good to know this is happening either way!

I didnt mind GFWL since I had no issues with it but dayum sons for devs/pubs for not patchin dem games ;(.

I hope most of my games get patched (some did like Batman and Bioshock) but would suck if Capcom or Rockstar doesnt (since those are mainly the two companies I have games that support GFWL >.>).

 

Dark souls wise, I hope they fix that too ;x.

I got tired of my gfwl account name.  The service was alright.  I just wanted my online persona to have a better name and once this transition is complete i finally can :)

Damn, Capcom, way to drop the ball.

GFLW was honestly the worst experience I've ever had with gaming. Came close to ruining my time with Fallout 3. Thank cats mods let you skip using it. I still have a sealed copy of BioShock that I never opened because I realized it was GFWL after I bought it.

On the day GFWL officially dies, I'm gonna celebrate with a bottle of wine.

Luckily of all my backlog I'll just have to check and possibly patch Sacred 2 when I'll install it.

I'm waiting for Street Fighter IV AE and Dirt 2 to cross over to Steam. Better happen soon :(
