gamrReview Verdict

Presentation - 4.0
Gameplay - 8.5
Value - 4.0
See that? Gameplay 8.5! means it's another solid gaming experience for Ratchet and Clank fans. I just hope I don't experience the performance problems of the reviewer.
It's a good example of why you can't just look at the overall total to get a sense of whether a game will be enjoyable.

One good thing about the PS4 launch is that people now agree reviews are not so important.
At least now we all agree Sony didnt win last gen with PS3 simply because they had more games with higher ratings cause we now see those reviews are meaningless.

8,5 is not a bad score by any means. That is actually a quality title.

Well, that's hilarious. Couple of Sony games score lower than expected and NOW reviews don't matter.

Have you heard yourself?

Tbh I never take VGC reviers serviously, I mean a 4 for presentation?  Idk how anyone can say that about this game, it looks really good.

All those bugs n glitches though. Seems like it's even worse than the multiplayer in Luigi's Mansion. I think I'ma have to hold out on buying it in hopes that they patch it up.

Reviews matter of course, but you've got to look behind the total score to see if there is a good game there or not. Not all scores are created equal. An 8.5 for gameplay means the game is fundamentally good. A game with 5.5 across the board will have a the same review score as Into the Nexus but it would be a lesser game than Into the Nexus, IMO.

I'll add to to the fact that the VGC review seems to be an outlier compared to metacritic where the score is a solid 7.5. But I reckon the VGC score would have been about there if the bugs and glitches weren't there.

I am sad this game isn't a fully fledged game but I'm glad we have it.

Nobody should ever trust one reviewer, whoever he is and however much faith he has in that person, that would be the definition of blind sheep. So this is just one guys opinion you disagree with at the end of the day.

If the meta is 75 that's a good overview of the game, which is all good metacritic is for I might add, to tell you if a game is either massively broken/terrible (sub 50) or incredible 95+.

everything in between is entirely down to your own preferences.

I just beat the game and never once ran into these bugs or glitches. Ran great to me.

Problem is I have to pay money to do so! I'll just wait for a patch and/or price drop.

The overall score is 5.5 though.
