i thought they announced they will not be coming to CES last year? could the purchase of nokia possibly have effected their decision to attend CES?

Possibly. But they never said they wouldnt be back, they just said that 2013 was out and that the show didnt really fit in with their calendar on product reveals.

ahh i thought they said they were out for good. then good news it was just that year. CES is an awesome show for tech lovers. microsoft has been branching out and making more hardware these past few years, it will be interesting to see what they got.
