I see a pattern!

All #5s!

Usually 3 is the number that companies have trouble with (Such as Half Life 3 and KH3)

Sega is changing up the formula with 5s... and it still doesn't make it any better

This game is to niche in the west. Sega would probably make money if they brought it here but not as much as they would like.

Then why did they localize everything else? Lol^

Why are you guys getting up in arms about ATLUS? They have their own localization team.
Nagoshi is a cool guy

Cant say I blame them. Game doesn't exactly sell very well so they probably would not make any money off of it if they did bring it over.
Hey it is region free so you could always import it and play it.
Of course I don't understand their reasoning for it. If they wanted it to be done they could always outsource it. Seems like its just an excuse to keep from admitting the real reason whatever it is

And these guys are supposed to controll Atlus?

And people said Nintendo and Sony were a bad choice.

God damn it

Like I said in the thread, I knew I should've gone for a more explosive title :P

Terrible News. I rarely get pissed off by news of a game not being localized, but I love the Yakuza series, and am a bit ticked-off. Not that this is unexpected. Sega's silence on a Yakuza 5 localization hasn't been encouraging to begin with. And if NA doesn't get Yakuza 5, Sega can stick Yakuza Ishin, and cram it with walnuts.
