I'm not even sure you have to love FFXIII. This game looks really good on its own. People are only putting it down because it has "FFXIII" written on it. Had it been a new IP with different characters, a lot of gamers who want to hate it would be excited over it instead.

The same can be said about FFXIII on its own as well. The reason why people put it down is because its a FF game - of course if it wasnt named "Final Fantasy XIII" it probably would of sold as much as Xenoblade or the Lost Odyssey l0l.

I agree completely. The amazing thing about Final Fantasy is that so many non-rpg players buy it. The curse of Final Fantasy is that so many non-rpg players buy it and then whine about it.

Had FF XIII been released by another company, the internet would be raving about it while begging that someone bring it west.
