Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Territorial Oak can burn in hell (or, the EarthBound topic)

It starts with this guy, just another wacky enemy in the array of wackiness that is Earth Bound, no stranger than the Wandering Shroom or the New Age Retro Hippie, but then it ends badly when you think you've won, and the damn thing catches fire. Oh, sure, the rolling HP meter may help you, but only if the Oak was the last enemy in the party that you killed. If not...

Welcome to Earth Bound! The quirky series that brought us Ness, the 12th character of Super Smash Bros. Part of the game's appeal trends through the weird way the game plays out, such as the "Confusion" status ailment being shown through having a mushroom on your head, which the status healer will pay you to fix.

Ness, an every-boy from anytown USA Eagleland, teams up with the psychic prodigy Paula, the tech prodigy Jeff, and Prince Poo of a mysterious Eastern kingdom. With your powers combined, you have to go to all of the Sanctuaries in the world, to synhronize your power so you can defeat the evil alien Giygas, who will conquer the world in the future.

Currently i'm playing in Twoson, having just gotten Paula to join the party. I just realized there's a Sanctuary back next to Happy Happy, so have to keep leveling up Paula as i traverse the world.

What is everyone else doing?
