Damn, so he won't be working on the PS4 game

New gen - new writers

NEW TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Writers? Where we're going, we won't need writers.

For the kind of game that Insomniac has done recently (Resistance,Fuse ) and the ones they are doing (Sunset overdrive). I don't think the company will need him .

Lol

I knew it..

I knew that there would be some type of catch..

So it looks like R&C could be doomed from here on out regardless of the approach insomniac takes

Into The Nexus could be the last good R&C we see

Hopefully it wont happen though.

Didn't they just announce a new one?

It'll be coming out this holiday.

It is probably already done and going off with some testing/debugging/etc.

I wonder who is writing the movie now.

He is doing the movie

He is...

"Fixman explained that in the past year, he signed on to write for feature films like One Night on the Hudson and 2015's Ratchet & Clank movie and was recently offered feature assignments at Disney and New Line."

"Seven-year Insomniac Games writer T.J. Fixman has left the Ratchet & Clank studio to pursue a career in screenwriting"

He's leaving Insomniac to pursue a career in the movie industry, and he's writing the Ratchet and Clank movie.

Hahahahaha! :D

That's a shame, but the fact he's staying for the movie means we'll still have plenty of Ratchet-y goodness from him. I'm guessing he was heavily involved in the Future Trilogy which I loved.

Makes me even more interested to see how "Into the Nexus" turns out now, if it's a new person/team writing it. With that said, the article opens with "Seven-year Insomniac Games writer T.J. Fixman". Given we celebrated the 10 year anniversary last year, it's safe to assume he had nothing to do with the original trilogy on PS2?

Either way, I don't doubt the storywriting of the series will be in good hands. Let's just hope Insomniac keeps the game design in good hands once Into the Nexus releases, too.
