Post apocalypse based shows could be new sub genre after the success of walking dead. It surely would be so much better than the vampire stuff. I can't believe how the vampires can be 100-1000 years old and still act like teenagers in their maturity level.
Should be great if done right. Really a great time for tv as there are such high quality shows coming out and co existing with crappy reality tv.
