What is this.... I don't even.....
The ignorance among many adults is laughable.

Seems an ideal token gesture. How many people actually play those things? A token gesture to the people who think violent games have something to do with anything, while not really offending consumers of gaming (except on principle).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

And this is why Nintendo's strategy is...*ahem*...bullet proof.

Seriously though, I find it rather humorous how kids seeing guns among parents and other adults apparently had zero influence on these shootings while the games are taking the blame.

Is it state "property"? If so, I have no problem with this (with the exception that it's state property... but that was the same yesterday as it was last year, as it was 5 years ago.)

Examine the system, and find ways to improve upon it. Gaming is not the problem here, nor is other forms of media. Stop wasting time on finding a scapegoat and just fix the damn problem.

Let's all play games like Ni No Kuni. I think we will go back to the time where shooters were niche games and Japan was dominating the market with action, adventure, fantasy, Rpg games.

Hollywood is next umm no ? But why ?

A 2 hour movie is nothing like hundreds of hours playing shooters. And videogames are interactive media, you fell like "you" are shooting, not just a character in a game. I am not saying that movies don't provide immersion. What i am trying to say is that in games it is easier to be "brain washed" by violence.

But those games are M rated so no kid should ever play them. They should start arresting parents

The rating system is not the solution for everything. For some people age is something only for the physical body, whereas the mind is not well formed.
