Lance Briggs from the Chicago Bears is hosting a fundraising dinner at my local Casino/Hotel and I'm going with a friend. 

Gonna be awesome. $200 per plate dinner and mingling. Not sure who all the other players are yet. I'll name drop some peeps later if I remember.

ok, so last night was fucking awesome.

It was a Lance Briggs foundation dinner that preempted a youth football camp today. I was drinkin' and dining with Lance Briggs (7 time pro bowl BEAR and UofA alumni and he's very cool guy), Michael Thomas of the Jaguars (I called him my favorite non-Bear and we joked about who was gonna be in the SuperBowl), and specifically at my table Joe Tafoya (UofA Alumni, Bear, Seahawk, and extremely funny guy) among a few other notables and many UofA players both current and in NFL already. Those were just the three I enjoyed the most.

After the awesome 2hr dinner and presentation (damn sponsors were given signed mini helmets and Briggs jerseys... I was pissed as most weren't even Bear fans) the players were joined by more players and hot women (my god at some of those college girls...) at a local sports bar near UofA for some fun drinking action. That was a good time right there.

Just had a chance in a lifetime night.

200 bucks per plate? By the GODS! Hope it's worth it bro!
