Why do they keep using Infinity Blade as an example? It is a terrible example of a "console sized game".
Seriously, all you do is jump from one battle to the next, swiping your finger to attack or tapping on on screen button to dodge or block. You do this over the course of maybe a donzen battles and you can easily complete a playthrough in under an hour. Without factoring in DLC you can finish a playthrough in around a half hour.
After that the game just bumps you back to the beginning and you get to do it all over again while upgrading the weapons and armor you have.
The fact that it keeps getting compared, or even that sites like 1UP say it gives off a "Dark Souls vibe" is embarassing. They are nothing alike.
Let's not even get into the control issues with GTA III on a tablet or phone.
It is almost as if the journalists who are supposed to represent us, the gamers, are the ones trying to destroy our favorite past time. There is a place forall types of games, but they need to stop with this thought process that Apple devices = All the answers.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
