The extremely ambitious youtube user "genGAMEnet" has recently uploaded a video showing one of its latest works titled: "Hyrule Alpha". It is not only a remake of all cities and connecting landscapes, but also all of the classic dungeons!

The entire map is available for download in the original youtube page's description box.

God, that must have taken FOREVER!

They did a really good job.

Can't they just... play OoT, instead?

What amazes me the most is the fact that lots (if not every) areas seems to be connected on the very same map since you can look through the deku tree from outside and witness the windmill from Hyrule Field!

I may be completely wrong though, as I have yet to try out Minecraft myself... How are the limits of this game? Does it even sound possible?

Maybe they just wanted to save money from the OoT purchase? :P

The Temple of Time kinda sucks - there are dozens of better recreations out there (including one on the VGC server).

But the rest is highly impressive.

Yeah, they went pretty severly out of scale and shape on that one. Seeing as how it's connected to the rest of the world though, I can't complain :P

Sure it is possible.  The map in Minecraft is generated as you explore it.  It can get as big as you need it to be.

This is very impressive.
