Yet despite having to live up to the gold standard that its predecessors have set, every new entry in the franchise has managed to not only meet these lofty expectations but move the series forwards in one way or another. Now, on the eve of Link and Zelda’s 25th anniversary, a new legend is about to be told: the legend of Skyward Sword.
