Forums - Sony Discussion - Beat inFAMOUS as Hero, On Hard, Now What?

Tagged games:

Ok beat Infamous on hard as a hero.

Have all the drops but 2 - working on that now

Have 285 Shards - working on that now

Have all but two hero power upgrades to complete - working on that now

So after the above is done what do I do?

I just make a new save file and play as evil to collect the rest of the trophies?

Also, does anything move over to inFamous 2 that I should know about, like either Hero or inFamous stuff?

Note* I bought the Hero Edition of inFamous 2 ($59.99 !!!!!!!), it's sitting on my entertainment center *UNOPENED* until I get 100% on inFamous.

When you start infamous 2 as the hero you will start with on slot of three start karma meter alread filled. You will also start with extra life via extra spaces to hold electricity. There is one other perk, but I cannot remember. The karma meter advantage is especially helpful for getting the trophies for becoming both good and evil in inFamous 2.

Well after you complete everything from above, then start a new game and play as evil, which is alot more fun than playing good. Its a pretty easy game to get a platinum trophy, but even if that isnt your goal, just to see the differences in missions and the powers are fun.

Plus that will then give you a gamesave to import for both Good and Evil playthroughs on Infamous 2. And the perks it gives you are really nice.

Finish the game as evil, and collect all the blast shards on 1. There is a bonus for collecting them, but I am not sure if you get it on both save files, apart from the karma ones

On inFamous 2, the good powers are much better than the evil powers, so play that one on hard, but play it second, you will see why when you finish the game

restart and play as evil -- the end game is lame, something i'm glad to see they fixed for the sequel.

the plat is pretty easy -- only two hard trophies.
1. collecting all of the blast shards - i recommend a guide cause there are just too damn many. i couldn't find the last 2 i needed on my first play though.
2. the "stunts" trophy. really this isn't that hard but a couple of the stunts require the right "setup" in order to complete. if you make it to the end game without getting it you'll never get it 'cause there isn't anyone left to attack. I also recommend a guide for this one just so you know what to be working towards.

Play on evil they are very different. And enjoy infamous 2

I just did this and i have to recommend you be very careful how you upgrade your powers. i finished the game became a hero on hard, and found all the blast shards only to find i didnt have enough EXP to upgrade all my hero powers. and i couldnt farm enemies because i had cleared all the zones of enemies, making spawns very rare and spase. so throughout the game i upgraded all my powers evenly thinking that there would be more than enough points when i finished the game only to find out there inst. so i think you should focus on upgrading whats left of the hero powers.

so i had to play through a 3rd time to get the hero upgrades trophy.

other than that, getting all the stunts isnt too hard, there are oppertunites late in the game to get the 3in1 shockwave roof thing if you miss it at the beginning. but the killing 25 enemies while on a train is also a bit annoying if you miss it on the first island, but still doable.

Well, it depends on how long you've been hard. I think the rule is, if it's been over four hours, you should call emergency. If not, then just get rid of it the old fashion way.... you know what Im talkin 'bout.

I would say evil was funner in the first, but horribly worse in the  second. Plus the hero ending is so surprising in the 2nd.
