"Meanwhile, Cardon suggested a Monster Hunter game will launch for Vita soon.

Commenting on the poor performance of the handheld in Japan, he said Monster Hunter on Vita was "due in a few months' time" (translation, again, by Oli Welsh).

"There were so many pre-orders that everything [all stock] went in the first few days," he said.

"The sales that followed might seem disappointing, but they're not. We must put things in perspective and stay calm. The games available at the Japanese launch didn't match the tastes of the Japanese public.

I dont know if anyone has noticed this, but on the best buy website they have two listings for the vita first edition bundle, one priced at 350 and the other at 300. Im not sure if they were trying to match the new 3g bundles and simply did not change the description of the contents to match the actual bundle, or if they are discounting these bundles by 50 bucks. Definitely worth checking into, I plan on doing so myself sometime today.

A comment about that online head to head might get patched in to Modnation Racers:Road Trip.

I appreciate the feedback on the blog. It’s great to see people passionate about ModNation Racers: Road Trip. As a gamer, if I saw a game I was looking forward to playing didn’t have a feature I wanted, I’d be bummed too. I didn’t expect everyone to read the blog and agree with me or for the blog to smooth over strong feelings on the matter. My intent was to explain the position the development team took when designing the feature set. A couple of you have mentioned that MNR PSP had online play and this is of course true. But part of the decision to not include MNR:RT at launch was that the percentage of MNR PSP gamers who played online. The percentage was in the single digits. I imagine if we said MNR PSP didn’t have online head-to-head prior to its launch, the reaction would be the same. But in the end, not many actually played online head-to-head. All this said, the development team is looking at online head-to-head in a patch. This wouldn’t be available day-1 of the PlayStation Vita launch but it is indeed something being researched as I type this.

Alright, so I received a call from my local gamestop this morning informing me that my preorder of the 3g version (I upgraded my preorder in hopes that they would simply apply the new bundle) would indeed be receiving the data pass and memory card when I go pick it up. Awesome news for those who are looking to preorder it, and also the playstation blog posting does talk about it being a launch bundle in that you probably dont need to preorder it, you should be able to simply walk into the store and pick it up right then and there. Best to just slap down a preorder though to ensure that you will get one. Also, those that already had the 3g version preordered which wasnt many of you im sure are also receiving the upgrade automatically.

How could you miss it <_<? The devs who are doing it is   Nihilistic Software. So it's a hit or miss as they haven't done a really big game yet. Hopefully the game will be GOOD!!

I'm sorry to say this, but the Resistance Vita game doesn't look anything like the PS3 versions. I can notice the framerate drop and the enemy models don't look impressive, I mean seriously one enemy just flat out disappeard after it was killed with the axe( 1:01-1:05). It would've been better if the original developer had created it. I can tell Vita can deliver PS3-like graphics.
