Well, my opinion is that this controller will not look like a "regular controller". Why? Because it will look too big and clumsy, and that will put "casuals" off. Also a lot of people have their sensor bar on top of their TVs so how would they be able to do that with a "regular controller"?
But at the same time they should be careful not to make it too slim as it would resemble a PSP or, even worst the NGP.
But then again, we only know rumors. What if the screen is 3" and not 6? What if it's taller than wider (highly unlikely, I know)? Where will the buttons be? On the shoulders with only the screen and the analog sticks facing you? And what if te analog sticks are circle pads like the one on the 3DS?
And talking about the 3DS, it's major selling point is it's 3D screen, so putting a bigger screen on a controller that will be sold for much less than the 3DS will cause a negative impact and thus making the situation of the 3DS even worse.
Just my 2cents, you know.
