He was saying these things during the democratic primaries too... when his main strategy was to come behind the Clintons and grab the liberals. It's just everybody ignored it.
Well a lot of it anwyay.
During the primaires he was talking about permanet bases in iraq, but just didn't phrase it like that. The only thing that has really changed since he hit the main elections is Nafta. Suddenly he's pro Nafta and pro free market.
