What's that got to do with anything? We're not disputing last years E3, the topic is this years E3. What's yours? Mine is: 'the more interesting exclusive surprise games announced, the better.' You can see my posts in both pre-E3 sections for Microsoft and Sony. I was looking for games. What was it, in your opinion, that gave Microsoft the win? A port for a JRPG? Perhaps if you were a JRPG fan, but the fact is: most gamers aren't. |
DJmeister was. He's claiming Sony won both this year and last year and is trying to use two divergent reasons to prove it.
Mine is "The biggest unknown game announced wins it." or barring a big announcement "Just biggest game." or a collection of games.
Which was FF13 on the 360. It was so big and so unannounced that it shut websites down. It was big news for everybody.
It was the biggest game on the PS3's lineup. FF13 is STILL The biggest game in PS3s lineup. It's also now the biggest game on the 360's lineup.
MAG is like... waaay down the list. Below FF13, Below Resistance, Killzone, COD, Fallout, Infamous, Borderlands, LBP... below a lot.
On a scale of 1-20... 360 gained an 11 hype game. Sony gained a 6-7 hype game. Exclusivity is meaningless.
FF13 was bigger then anything showed by a lot.
Final Fantays sells to a LOT more then the JRPG fans. Infact most RPG fans are like me... and buy them half heartidly hoping they're good again.
The series sells 5 million Minium. It's bigger then any other game Sony introduced by a lot.
