There will be no momentum shift because Microsoft, like Sony and Nintendo, failed to announce anything new and worthwhile. I'll admit, their FFXIII announcement shocked the shit out of me. The game was possibly the biggest exclusive in the PS3 arsenal (deffinitly my most wanted game). Aside from that, however, Microsoft did not show off anything new to make people want a 360. The game is still going to be released on both consoles and most likely outsell the 360 version simply becuase of Japan.
In my oppinion, this will not add momentum to Microsoft. What it will do is prevent Sony from breaking off or widening the gap in weekly sales a bit more than it already is (for a couple of weeks like most big exclusives do these days). The only thing that can add momentum to Microsofts little box is called Gears of War.
