As you progress you can add a bit more to your characters. All the time you have to defend yourself against enemies, get food, etc etc. To me, that sounds like wicked fun. What troubles me is the time where you go high-tec. How will they solve that? Will other planets be high-tec? Or will you have to start over on the next planet? |
You start out with one guy in the sea. Sadly they cut out the "fish" phase though since they couldn't get it to work right.
So you go straight into the small celled phase to animal phase.
Aster that you wander around as your animal, killing and eating animals and other animals eggs if your a carnivore, or findng and eating plants if you are a herbovore. (Or both.)
Once you get enough evo points and want to change up your character you have to do your mating call and find NPC's of your species, then they create and egg... and when it hatches, you become that new evolved being. You save up points while you do this upgrading your creatures brain.
When you creatures brain is high enough.... then you go into the multiparty phases.
As for the Hi-tech planets. Spore downloads other players planets to your computer to fill your universe. You come across aliens of different levels of technology some as hi-tech as you. No doubt the early hightech races are ones built by the Spore creation team... and once the game is out a month or two, nobody should be getting the same game... as there will be countless options.
