EDIT: On second thought, AC and Home are quite different. AC is a very social experience while Home is aimed at people who play alone at their... home.

This new Animal Crossing is a reponse to Home. You organize your furniture then invite friends in to see it. They both have voice chat, but Sony's is better. The whole point of Home was social interactivity, so I'm not sure why you had that "second thought."

Because nintendo-gamers are always social and ps360 gamers just sit alone in their dark lairs... I guess? :D
