why is Dragon Age there? There is no console version announced, and the PC version definitely won't be ported to consoles.

It's already been announced the game is coming to "consoles" along with the PC version. Anytime anybody with no inside knowledge says "definately" they usually are wrong. Like you coincedentally.

Dragon Age: Origins was not announced to consoles, only the franchise was. The gameplay of Dragon Age: Origins is not console-friendly. Infact, it's probably one of the gameplays for porting.

Here you go genius,

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6193900.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=newstop&tag=newstop;title;18

Namely, during BioWare president Greg Zeschuk's demonstration of Dragon Age: Origins, the executive revealed that the game would arrive on consoles in addition to the PC. Unfortunately, the developer would only say that the titles would arrive "in the future," and Zelschuk did not elaborate on whether the title would surface on all platforms simultaneously.

That is incorrect. Zeschuk said "Dragon Age is coming to PC and consoles in the future", it is not certain the console versions will be the same as the PC version.

And if we have anything to go by, in the Baldur's Gate franchise the PC games were not ported, but instead the consoles got their own BG games.
