The PS3 supposedly is harder to build. People consider it to have no good games and the big wallop is that it is $600 dollars in comparison to $250. For a system that is almost 3 times as expensive and has no games I think the PS3 is doing quite well. It also doesn't seem to be recieving quite a stomping as people would like to make it seem (by adding european data to Wii sales) Seriously can people here really say the PS3 is not selling well? Have I asked that before?
For its price the PS3 is selling amazingly well but in general it isn't selling all that well for a new system ... Had the XBox 360 or Wii launched at $600 they wouldn't have sold as many units, but they have launched at a lower price and are (currently) selling better than the PS3 ... Currently, we only have enough data to show trends in Japan and in 2007 the Wii has sold 812,750 as compared to the PS3 which has sold 278,000 ...
