Only ff13 and not the other two games in the tri-release is slated for 360 porting. Some have said Versus is the better of the three, but i have not really done any look into this yet, as ff is still far too long into the future, so ....

They're only saying Vs. XIII is better since the XIII 360 announcement. What does that tell you?

anyways, what of sony's involvement in SE? Isn't it true that they will be making money on ff13 games sold on xbox360? Won't they be saving about half a billion dollars in consoles losses due to 360 owners going multiplat for one game? (estimate: 2 million consoles at 200$ loss per console)

9% share of S-E, at the moment. Yeah, Sony saves money by not selling consoles. Brilliant. They should get out of the entire market and save even more cash.

What else was mentioned?

Half a dozen new XBLA games very soon. Copying your X360 games to HDD, Fallout 3 exclusive content, 2 new casual IPs, Scene It? #2. Tons of new info on Fable, RE5. Rockband time-exclusivity, GH3/4 exclusive tracks, and so on.

Big nods to GeOW2 (let's face it the acronym GOW is reserved for the much better game)

But not the better selling one, or more popular, right?

And that Netflix deal is pretty cool although sony countered with direct downloads with all major studio support.

For the price of 1 HD download on PS3, you can get all the movie downloads you want for a month for $1 more. Which news do you think is the bigger, better news? Its like Sony just announcing that their games are going to be on CDs when MS just announced they're going to DVD.

I think what is most interesting is that 360 is swinging towards the rpg side of the map, where ps3 is siding with cheaper games (great hits, r&C, plastic kung fu), and shooters.

And Microsoft just announced 3 casual, exclusive IPs. And tons of good XBLA games that will all be under $10.

Anyone can believe anything they want to. That doesn't make it true.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
