Doing one for third party support would take about 10x the effort. And Nintendo is still outpacing the rest of the industry in terms of known Wii blockbusters. The short version is this: Launch support for Wii exceeded Gamecube, while Q1 support was vastly superior on GC, due to a lot more multi-platform titles, and redundant sports titles. However, Q1 has also been the best period for Nintendo in terms of new support being announced, possibly ever. A great deal of what's been announced, though, are titles aiming for Q4 of 2007. Big third party titles for 2008 are likely in the works, but will be held for big press events.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
