Last gen, PS2 got everything first. Seemed kinda crazy to me. The 'cube should have gotten all multi-plats first, followed by a simultaneous PS2/XBOX release. Why companies were releasing a game months later on a console with a fragment of the installed base always struck me as retarded (late game + small install base=profit?). That's why MGS2 failed to make a dent on XBOX.
A port of MGS4 wouldn't make much sense now, either. The hype has passed. The storyline's details have been leaked. A port MAY eventually happen, but now it's too little too late. How much do MGS games typically sell anyway? How much has MGS4 sold? Exactly.
