Its possible, and would signal a turning point in the industry.
Casual and hardcore would essentially become divided.
It would be the first time in console history that the system with the best games would fail to win the console war. Likely PS360 would end up with about 50% marketshare, while Wii gets the other 50%...
wouldn't be abd though. All the hardcroe games would get their shiny graphics and (imo) good controls, and Wii would get great sales, excellent first party games and many casuals.
BUT- what happens next gen if casuals are fickle and abandon gaming because they get bored, and Sony gets crippled by massive losses, and 360 had the best games and was seen as hardcore? Xbox 3 would probably win. But this is a doubtful scenario anyway, becuase I think KH3 is going exclusivly to Wii.
