It's not a clearance if the 80 gb is gonna be 500 dollars standard when it's not a limited edition.
The thing is Sony can afford a lot more to make the 80gb version 500 dollars and not the 60 gb version which costs more to make.
I also don't think they will sell out all 60 gbs by the end of July which is why their offers go on till September. By that time, they have a shot I think.
