If it was closer to being done, why not show us a new trailer yesterday?

This game is nowhere near complete.  I'm aiming for a December 09 release in Japan, and an american release 18 months after that.  They have to develop the game on the 360, then localize it.

The game will launch so late in the game, it won't mean anything.

I think summer at the latest. They are saving the new trailer for today hopefully..... It wont take 18 months to port, and they will be doing localisation stuff at the same time, and it wont take too long as the 360 version will be done in English anyway, as it wont get a japanese release (it will eventually I guess, but not initially)

We'll see.  I hope it comes sooner than I stated, but they have to make the 360 version, then localize the PS3 version.  And porting the PS3 game to the 360 could prove troublesome. 

I'm just being a pessimist.  But I'm most assured it won't come out this year in Japan.  SE stated that they wouldn't release DQ IX and FFXIII in the same year, this is DQ's year, so that leads me to believe that it won't come until fall of 09, as they'd want to give DQ it's time to shine.
