True, but these are the same people who could have just bought a PS3 for less than $300 anyway by the time the game is released.
Unless there was some other compelling reason why they wanted a PS3, why would they be paying a premium for one currently over a year before the game is even set to be released?
One really shouldn't blame circumstances like this based upon their own failure for rational thought.
It's a given all consoles will be cheaper the longer you hold off on a purchase. You buy one when your personal main reason for owning one is available, not because it's going to be in the distant future.
