"According to Bloomberg, Square-Enix stocks are down 20% after the FFXIII 360 announcement. Is this a typo. How can stock fall that fast. Or is something going on over at Square-Enix Japan as speculated by Kotaku?Note that this is updated once everyday. So it could be talking about yesterday. But Japan is one day ahead of USA?Note that the -20 is not 20 Yen. Bloomberg is american!!"

Any ideas why? Surely going multiplatform will result in increased sales?

Actually, if you did a search, you'd find this article.  Looks like they had a 3.2 percent gain which was "the biggest advance since May 30".

Edit:  Er... well, as Fishy said, it seems the market just opened over there also.  So I guess that search may not have been valid then.
