Just to clear up the matter : EVERY FF game has always been released first in Japan and waaaay later in the US and Europe essentially because of the localisation (6 months to one year later that is).
Which means that if FFXIII is miraculously out for Christmas in Japan on PS3, we'll have to wait at least 6 months if not more, due to the localisation and the porting, before it is released in the US and EU.
