Isn't it enough to know that Nintendo, SCE and MSHE all have enough backing to comfortably survive this generation and most likely the next? If it comes down to pure fanboyism then it is just plain sad. PS. If it is a case of fanboyism then I have decied to become an Exxon Mobil fanboy. My company has makes more money each year than your three companies combined. Next time there is a flame war over whose preferred company is bigger I win! |
If I had to guess, Saiyar, it's an oblique method of measuring your preferred company's coolness.
If you're an Xbox fanboy, you want to hear that your company is the biggest and will spend the most money and that it wins. Most of that actually happens to be true in the case of Microsoft, but it's only an example.
Another truth is that loss-leading strategies are very common in this industry, and many people are interested to see who has the most ammunition to use/risk in such a fight.
