Thats not unclear at all.  Microsoft very clearly and repeatedely stated it would be day and date.

But then later on a SE blog, they said it was uncertain whether it will come out on PS3 and 360 at the same time. Although it could just be an error, it is still very confusing.

There was nothing confusing about Microsoft's press release just then.  Check the news section.
