This is a bunch of bollocks... people are saying that Nintendo isn't about the hardcore games any more because their press conference didn't focus on those games massively?
What are people nuts?
Some of the biggest and best games coming out of Nintendo in recent times are at E3, Mario Galaxy and Metroid are two of them... and then there are many more coming out after that.
What is wrong with Nintendo filling their typically long gaps with other types of games to keep their sales momentum up which will in turn cause better 3rd party games to be released on the Wii because it has a much higher install base?
Some people need to get their mindsets right... this E3 has been hardcore impressive for me, and has put me back into a little bit of a Nintendo 'favour' which was disappearing lately... Mario Galaxy is going to be one of the best games of all time, I haven't heard such glowing hands on of a game in... well since the N64 generation!
