Looking at Final Fantasy XIII's importance on a regional basis.

Starcraft, bring it in for a second. The last final fantasy has 2.5 mil in Japan, less than a mil in others, and 2 mil in America. So all of the Japanese sales will be on the PS3. Others will see PS3 ahead of 360 much like DMC 4 and GTA IV, and American sales will likely see a split in sales.

FF can only sell so many copies in japan.

If it sells closer to 5 million.  Japan will be the most important region.

If it sells closer to 10 million.  Japan will be the least important region.

Either way, sony would of rather had exclusivity in the US or Europe... cause they would win FF13 sales in Japan by huge margins anwyay.  I couldn't see it moving many 360s.

Exactly.  It's in the middle.  That's basically what my thread was about.  It's a huge win for MS, but it's not so big as Starcraft is making it out to be.
