Dunno, it depends on what kind of movies you like.
In any case, I suggest watching the film. It's an interesting experience whether you love or hate Lynch's films. He's notorious for not resolving anything in his movies and leaving all the interpretation to the audience. Personally, I think his films are a great departure from most of Hollywood's schlock.
Plus, the Laura Harring/Naomi Watts lesbian scene in Mulholland Drive was just beautiful, man.
