I know plenty of gay people. My sister and my mom work with them in their industry. 4 of my sisters bosses are gay.
My school has been nicknamed UNCGay, because of the male population. At least 35% of it is gay and that is at the low end with the guys who won't admit it.
My roommate freshman year is still in the closet. All of his friends, including myself and my brother know that he is. He just won't come out.
It is pretty surprising that I have never had a problem with gay people because I am from the South. Having dudes hit on you is awesome because that means that even guys like you! It is good for the self esteem.
