I understand that there is complexity, but since the PSN games are relatively simple, I think the investment would have been well worth it.

Examples:
Locoroco trophies: Just give one for every 50 locorocos you can save;
Everyday shooter: give a trophy at the end of each level
Flow: trophy for completing a creature.

That can't be that hard to add and quality test in those examples. In many cases it would not have canibalized SSHD sales on a 1 to 1 basis because people who want trophies are willing to buy multiple games in my opition.
