Yeah, the comparison really falls apart with the open world of Zelda. I've only played Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. In WW, the world seemed very important to me. At least so far in TP, the game has been solely driven by the dungeons and the collecting light sections. Honestly, IMO so far the game could drop the open world structure and go to a level structure and not suffer one bit.

It gets more open world after this. Especially when you start to get into areas like the Gerudo Desert, and Snow mountain. Also you don't get anymore light bugs( I forgot what they were called) after this. ALso things like finding heart peices, and secret areas fit more into the open world aspect.
